Women in Horror – Shared Pages: DK Mok

February 9, 2015 at 4:22 am (horror, Links, writing) (, , , , )

I chose this female horror writer for my spotlight because her story “Keeping It Together” in the Midnight Movie Creature Feature anthology is the type of zomedy tale I enjoy, scary and funny at the same time. Her accomplishments include being shortlisted for an Aurealis Award and a Washington Science Fiction Association Small Press Award.

In addition to being a woman in horror, she is also a writer of science fiction and fantasy. She has a degree in psychology and an unusual fascination with giant squid and labyrinthine gardens.
